Titanium Toenail Braces

For Deformed, Involuted or ingrowing Toenails

The problem of ingrown toenails affects people of all ages. The painful wounds that arise as a result of ingrown toenails are so burdensome that many resort to the widely known extreme  treatment method of the removal of the entire nail plate.

However, we offer a less invasive but very effective methods of treatment.

Do you see your nails starting to grow into your skin?

Visit your foot health practitioner and ask about the corrective toenail brace.

This simple procedure can save a lot of pain and shape unruly nails for a long time.

Nail bracing is a safe, simple,  non-invasive and pain free procedure that requires no anaesthetic, no recovery down time and eliminates the risk of an ingrown toenail infection.

Toe Nail Bracing is an alternative solution for patients who may not be suited for ingrown toenail surgery ( surgery not only is painful, but very often the new nail grows back incorrectly) or for people whose nails grow in the wrong way and cause a lot of pain.

Who will benefit from Toenail Bracing:

Those who have:

  • Repeated problem with ingrowing toenails

  • Involuted or “Pincher” type nails

  • Split toenails

  • Deformed toenails

Toenail Bracing is a process in which a titanium wire and hardened composite material is applied directly to the nailbed, to lift the sides of the nail and cured with an LED light.                                The ingrown toenail brace acts like a spring, gently straightening and lifting each side of the toenail, reducing its pressure against the skin. This process ensures that the nail remains in the correct shape as it grows from the base of the nail to the end, thus reshaping the pathway for the new nail growth.

The entire Toenail Bracing process will take about 3-12 months with the titanium wire being reapplied every few weeks (depending on the natural growth rate of your nail).  This is a long-term commitment.

The titanium toenail brace is designed to allow for your natural toenail to regrow in the correct position. Upon completion, the composite is removed, and the nail continues to grow naturally.
